Renee started her career at Wilkerson Guthmann as an audit intern and then transitioned to a full-time role after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in 2019. She joined Boyum Barenscheer when the two firms merged in January 2021. In her time at Boyum, Renee has worked with clients across a diverse range of industries, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution. She specializes in employee benefit plan audits and financial statement audit and review services. Renee enjoys building strong, lasting relationships with clients and helping them navigate financial reporting requirements with confidence. She takes pride in making the audit process as smooth as possible, while also identifying opportunities for improvement.

Beyond her professional life, Renee values spending quality time with family and friends, finding joy in trying new restaurants, discovering new ice cream shops, and watching sports. During the summer months, her and her husband can often be found on the golf course with their family and friends. She also has a passion for travel, whether exploring new destinations, or heading up north.
