Mara began her career in accounting at a midsized public accounting firm, where she gained experience through an internship and a rotational period in Audit before focusing on Tax. She specializes in individual tax returns for high-net-worth clients, working with family groups, C-suite executives with stock options, and private equity partners. Mara also has extensive experience with Trusts, Estates, and Gift Taxes, and enjoys the complexity these areas provide.

Raised on a farm in small-town Minnesota, Mara now resides in the Minneapolis metro area with her two tuxedo cats. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crocheting, spending time with friends, and traveling. Recently, her travels have taken her across the United States, including Washington, Nevada, Colorado, and Florida, as well as internationally to India.
