12/15/2020
Nick Swedberg

Minnesota lawmakers passed a much-needed COVID relief bill on Monday, December 15, allocating $88 million of assistance to restaurants, bars, gyms and fitness centers.

This direct aid will be available to restaurants and breweries that had at least a 30% decrease in sales from April 1 through September 30 compared to that same time frame in 2019.  The funds will be distributed based on the number of employees for the business. The amounts of relief will range from $10,000 to $45,000 based on this criteria:

  • 1 – 20 employees        $15,000
  • 21 – 100 employees    $25,000
  • 101 – 299 employees  $35,000
  • 300+ employees          $45,000

We will share more as we receive additional information regarding the application process for these relief funds, so please check our website!
