QuickBooks Desktop, a cornerstone of small business accounting software for years, is being phased out by Intuit. After of September 30 2024, support for several versions of QuickBooks Desktop will cease. QuickBooks will no longer be selling new subscriptions of the following products:
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll
Existing subscribers are not impacted by this change. QuickBooks will continue to provide security updates, product updates, and support to existing QuickBooks Desktop subscribers. We encourage clients on standalone QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Mac to consider moving to QuickBooks Online.
