Talent Acquisition Specialist

Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a staff member performing recruiting related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Director. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, intern program, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

Considering the above general accountabilities in greater detail, below is a list of specific
tasks that fall within the responsibility of this position:
• Assists with full-cycle recruitment for internal positions which include all exempt and
nonexempt staff and Interns, i.e. executing initial candidate outreach, conducting
initial interviews, coordinate interviews with internal decision makers, extending
offers, setting up background checks, and participating in employee onboarding
process.
• Create and executive sourcing strategies
• Ensure positive candidate experience throughout The Firm’s interview process
• Assist with managing vendor, client, and university/campus relationships
• Write and place advertisements for open positions
• Assists with maintenance of employee and intern personnel files
• Assist with conception and executive of firm employee events to foster positive,
inclusive work environment and attract potential employees
• Serve as a point of contact for hiring managers on talent acquisition matters
• Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager and/or HR Director with various research
projects and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Education
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in the core values of B&B and be
driven by the firm vision. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• (1) year talent acquisition experience
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
• Ability to build and manage relationships with candidates and colleagues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of employment-related laws (FMLA, FLSA, etc)
• Work with confidential information and ability to keep information confidential
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work assignments
• Ability to develop creative, effective solutions
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Excellent written, proofreading, problem solving, and oral communication skills
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
